This application uses real-time data and risk management technology to provide digital checklists, real-time warning system and monitoring of safety critical ship operations, enforcing best practice on the ship. It is an easy-to-use flow tool guiding the crew and officers in real-time for safe operations. In addition, it gives high quality data, simplifying documentation and reporting to save time and improve accuracy.

Use case – digitalizing in-port check lists

DNV Safety Risk Application run on the Unified Hosting Service™ automatically collects and logs the necessary operational data in compliance with check lists for entering ports. The logs will be available for ship owners to share with any third parties, including port authorities or insurance companies. For ship’s crew, digitalisation will enable easier reporting, and they will experience more efficient daily operations.

On-board data-sharing service

Safety Risk Application was developed by DNV, and can run on the Unified Hosting Service. The UHS is the end-to-end service providing collection, edge processing, reusing and transmitting of the data, which is essential to simplify the mandatory reporting and ensure transparency without compromising data governance.
